*Position: AWS Administrator * *Location – Englewood, NJ* *Location: 6+Months* *Responsibilities: * - Act as a subject matter expert in a 24 / 7 Web/cloud platform operations team. - Own installation, configuration, integration, and management of web infrastructure software, including but not limited to:LAMP environments, Cloud environments (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) PHP, Perl and Python environments, and JBoss/Tomcat application servers - Research and recommend emerging technologies in partnership with Solutions Architects to meet evolving business requirements and to strengthen the tech stack - Resolve technical issues for managed software and aid in application integration on Cloud Platforms. - Analyze a complex cloud operations situation, take control of the process and guide the team to a resolution - Identify opportunities for automation and develop a optimization workflow. - Manage and execute infrastructure upgrades to stay current with industry standards or contract requirements - Support Technical escalations and work with different teams to identify technical solution. - Create and Document technical processes in a great details, which could be followed by L1&L2 support teams. *Basic Qualifications: * - Hands on Operational responsibility for last 6 years. - Hands on experience with various popular unix/linux distribution : RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, OEL, Solaris, etc.. - Minimum of 6 years experience in supporting web infrastructure running in Linux/unix Environment. - Minimum of 6 years of operational expertise with configuration / change control and source-code management methodologies - Minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS/Azure or other public cloud platforms - Minimum of 6 years of experience performance tuning J2EE web applications - Minimum of 6 years of experience performance tuning LAMP and/or MEAN based web applications - Minimum 6 years’ experience working in a big enterprise large scale deployment of Infrastructure, Platform, Network, Compute, Storage, Data Center, Workplace, Service Desk organization. - Minimum 2+ years experience with log management software i.e., Splunk, ELK , LogEntries, Papertrail etc. - Ability to diplomatically interact and communicate with all levels of an organization including different service delivery partners. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. - Detail oriented individual with excellent time management and organizational skills. - Experience working in fast paced environment with stringent SLA and track record of meeting them. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Desirable Skills:* - Hands on experience on either of the Automation tools – Ansible/Salt/Chef/Puppet.
