Position: Test Lead for HP QC Migration
Duration: Long term
Location: San Diego, CA
Job Description:
Responsibilities of the Test Lead:
- Hands-on experience of working on HP QC 11.0,11.52 and 12.5 Versions+
administration, Migration and configuration. Should have done atleast one
QC migration project.
- Coordinate with multiple teams like Hardware, Application Development
team/owner for migration planning of Projects/group moves and planned
changes/activities.
- Experience with administration and configuration for multiple HP QC
versions.
- Able to independently verify data migration/ customizations /test
patches for major Projects/ Sub-Projects.
- Writes basic technical/training documentation related to
Migration(from user perspective).
Good Testing Skills/fundamentals
- Able to verify system access and security aspects (Role based).
- Provide support for critical migrations and incidents.
- Helps clients (Project Managers) in migration planning and
deployment/cut-over across impacted projects in the organization.
- Interact with owners of Change management, Problem management,
Incident management processes and practices.
- Discovers, co-ordinates and communicates service problems with HP
helpdesk to closure.
- Reports migration status on a regular basis, Works efficiently with
minimal guidance from Seniors
