Assist with troubleshooting of system and application performance related issues and recommend fixes. 3. Provide support for performance testing the CAE and CCP applications Skills 1. Ability to work off-hours and weekends when necessary 2. 3 – 5 years of hands-on DB2 UDB experience in an AIX environment 3. Experience reviewing SQL to address performance problems 4. Strong Unix skills ü Command line processing ü Reading, writing, executing, troubleshooting user scripts 1. Microsoft Office experience in, at a minimum, Outlook, WORD, Excel 2. Comfortable receiving instructions from lead DBA and then working independantly 3. Experience, from a database perspective, dealing with Websphere Application Sever, HTTP Server, MQSeries and Cognos 4. Experience with Q-Replication 5. Experience in Performance monitoring/testing COGNOS applications 6. Experience with DPF (Data Partitioning Facility).
