*Job Description:*
This recruitment is for one (1) Business Intelligence Certified Project
Manager III. The person in this position will be responsible for leading
the development and maintenance of CARES related data warehouses which are
used primarily by the Division of Early Care and Education and the Division
of Financial and Economic Security. This position requires an individual
who typically has 7+ years of business intelligence project management.
Professional certification is required.
The individual in this position will assist in managing the portfolio for
the section. These responsibilities include creating and updating
templates, procedural manuals, job aids, and other tools to be used by the
section’s project managers. Also, they will be responsible for monitoring
resource usage, review project status reports, creating summary reports for
the section and leadership. The individual in this position will be
responsible for training and managing entry level project managers as well
as providing guidance and support to the section’s project managers and
leadership team.
Experience in building effective teams, successfully managing project
timelines and budgets, as well as producing high quality project artifacts
(charter, project plans, etc.) is required.
The person in this position will be working closely with the Executive and
Business Sponsors, IT Senior Management, and other Department Leaders to
ensure priorities of the project are understood and managed accordingly.
He/she will understand business objectives and problems and work with the
multiple stakeholders to ensure complex technical and non-technical
problems are solved.
A strong understanding Kimball Data Warehouse design principals, experience
in gathering requirements for data warehouse projects, and experience in
design and development of data warehouse projects is required. Any
experience with advanced analytics is preferred.
