*Please share me profile at [email protected] <[email protected]>* *GRC Consultant* *Jersey city , NJ* *12+ Months* *Job Description* The Business Consultant for the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team will act as the primary liaison between the technology aspects of the GRC enterprise tool and the multiple consumers of the information it provides. The Business Consultant will understand the nuances of how this service is being used to support the leadership decision making process as well as its technical capabilities, always striving to keep them aligned. This role continually looks to the business to evangelize the creative ways the information can be used to demonstrate the current state of our information security program related to the threat landscape and our framework. The Business Consultant also works for the GRC service consumers, translating requirements into functional specifications for the technology team to implement. This individual is also responsible strategic vision and for setting the roadmap for implementing new features and functionality associated with this service. Additional Responsibilities: • Understands, develops and delivers meaningful dashboards and reports to a wide audience demonstrating our current program state and adherence to framework standards. • Understands business needs and adjust or develop new processes to efficiently provide excellent service and value to the consumers of this information. • Uses the information generated by our governance tools to assist in driving awareness and change to stakeholders. • Develops standard operating procedures and other appropriate documentation to enforce quality and consistency of the services this team provides. • Prepares, evaluates and presents GRC solutions and makes recommendations to stakeholders. • Participates actively in GRC service offering through envisioning and evangelizing tool capabilities and improvement opportunities. • Develops and demonstrates intimacy and understanding of the BCBSMA environment. • Considers the implications of the recommended solution in light of the culture and context of BCBSMA. • Understands and represents multiple perspectives so that others understand positions and policies. • Acts as champion for the perspectives of different partners even in the face of resistance. • Provides leadership and direction for project execution. • Provides expertise to identify potential problems and executes adjustments to project timelines, tasks and resources allocation as required. • Works cross functionally to facilitate and organize actions to meet division and corporate goals. • Assumes a lead role in collaborating to influence actions and decisions to positively impact business and financial results. • Supports development and implementation of sound business initiatives across the division and BCBSMA. • Champions process improvements fostering ownership and empowerment across the project teams, IT and the organization.
