*Job Description for Testing Automation Engineer* *General skills required* · Analyze test requirements and develop test plans, test scenarios and test cases. · Preparation of test reports. · Coordinate tasks and communication across distributed teams. · Able to perform Functional, Regression, System and Performance testing. · Familiarity with tools like Qmetry, HP Quality Center, JIRA. · Root cause analysis of defects in complex environment. *Testing Automation Mandatory Skills* · Working knowledge of scripting languages (python preferred). · Select and develop appropriate test automation tools as per the requirements of the test cases. · Aware of software quality control processes e.g. coding guidelines, code review, module testing and so on. · Worked with versioning control systems to ensure proper version control of test objects developed and test environments used.
