Location: Fremont, CA or Boise, ID Duration:6 Months Job Code:189042 No of openings:2 *Job Description:* - Experience in developing storage device drivers on Linux - Excellent in C. Experience in multi processing, threading and interrupt processing. - Must be well versed with software application design and development tools. - Strong knowledge of Linux and storage device protocol and drivers - Deep knowledge of the SCSI protocol stack - Well conversant with Multi-threaded programming and Inter Process Communication - Triaging and debugging issues in the Linux kernel and SCSI device driver - Experience with performance engineering - Join a project team of other software systems engineers, marketing and sales engineers, internal and outsourced development partners, and external third party software vendors responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration. - Create and maintain Linux based storage device drivers for iSCSI, FC, NVMe and SAS protocols. - Utilizing knowledge of Operating Systems, middleware, scripting languages, and performance tuning. - System software development as part of a multi-geographic project team responsible for delivering multiple products including new development and sustaining efforts - Minimum of 5+ years in development position on a systems/software engineering development team. - Experience working on at least one of the storage protocols - iSCSI, FC, NVMe or SAS. - Demonstrated ability to design, develop and deliver final product quality code on schedule - Linux device driver development experience. - Capture new Product feature requirements and translate into designs. - Experience of working during all phases of project from inception, requirment, design, develop, SQA, support. - High focus on Quality of work and deliverables - Ability to effectively communicate product architecture and design proposals in cross-functional meetings - Experience in working on onsite-offshore development model Experience working on Linux device driver is strongly desired - Demonstrated ability to work across complex organizations and collaborate on technology sharing - Ability to work in a team environment utilizing collaboration skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Global development experience highly desired *Thanks & Regards,* *Mohammed Shafi* *Recruiter* *shafi@rekruiteasy. <[email protected]>net* *www.rekruiteasy.com <http://www.rekruiteasy.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
