*Job Description*

Selected candidates will be responsible for defining and overseeing the
delivery of comprehensive and complex solutions for clients. A MindTree
Program Manager balances business and technology skills with an enterprise
view.

Candidates must have a demonstrated background in program management and
must have a strong mix of business, consulting, technical, and relationship
management skills. They may work with clients to define and deliver a
solution or they may orchestrate the delivery of a well-defined solution.



*Responsibilities: *

•              Assure that  the program and related projects achieve the
client’s business objectives

•              Understand and break down the project/program into the
technical and functional elements required to meet these business objectives

•              Manage complex projects/programs from discovery, through
design and build, testing and into production

•              Leverage program and project management skills and
competencies such as resource, issue, risk, scope, cost and stakeholder
management at a program level

•              Integrate, align and maintain MindTree and client teams as a
cohesive working unit

•              Partner with the client organization in proactively managing
change

•              Create strategies and plans for risk mitigation; perform
contingency planning as required at a program level

•              Direct and oversee teams that may reside onsite, in-country,
or offshore and manage conflicts within these groups

•              Advise client organizations on MindTree’s program management
best practices



*Candidate Requirements and Competencies*

•                     At least 10 years of relevant experience related to
IT application development or support.

•                     Experience with two or more of the following
program/project areas: web or custom application software development,
software implementation or software deployment, infrastructure deployment,
business process or technical services outsourcing or information
management.

•                     At least 5 years’ experience as a manager of projects
or programs in a client-facing role.

•                     At least two projects related to implementation,
enhancing or interfacing an eCommerce packages like WCS, Sterling, hybris,
etc. or custom development in eCommerce for Sales and Service.

•                     Experience managing varied groups or distributed
global teams, both onsite and offsite/offshore. Experience working with
clients and teams of different cultures.

•                     Willing to travel to client sites during weekdays to
lead and manage onsite activities.

•                     Prior consulting or outsourcing field experience is
strongly preferred.

•                     Masters degree is preferred, especially with a
business orientation such as an MBA.

•                     Prior experience with multiple development methods
and methodologies.

•                     Solid knowledge and experience of project and program
management techniques; PMP or related certification is recommended; PgMP is
a plus.

•                     Management Office function and project lifecycle
management including budget and planning, work scheduling and work
management, stage gate processes, contract management, and risk and quality
management.

•                     Able to read and understand IT contracts, statements
of work and related documents. Comfortable reviewing and analyzing
financial tables and schedules. Should have a good overall understanding of
financial management and be able to build business value justification
cases for IT initiatives.

•                     Very strong communication and interpersonal skills,
as well as facilitation, conflict management, and consensus building
skills.

•                     Solid written communication skills including creation
of detailed documents, presentations, and other forms of written
communication such as emails.

•                     General business acumen and understanding of the role
of technology in business transformation and increased operational
efficiency.

•                     Able to portray a methodical and creative approach to
problem solving.

•                     High energy, self-motivated and able to work
independently.
