*Job Responsibilities *

As a EDW Release Engineer, work with engineering teams to deploy ETL code
and functionality to production.
Define best practices for code versioning, recommend deploy infrastructure
and ensure best practices are followed.
Review release requests from developers teams and deploy code on Teradata
and Hadoop Platforms.
Schedule new applications on centralized job scheduler.
Review code deployments requests to ensure standards are followed.
Open bug requests for deployments with errors.
Work with release solutions team to provide requirement for automation.


*Requirements:  *
Expertise in continuous integration, continuous delivery and daily
deployments
Expert in Git/GitHub Enterprise, good understanding of forking, keeping
code in sync and developing best practices.
Expert in continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Hudson, etc.)
Expert with build tools (Ant, Maven)
Good communication skills and cross functional collaboration. Ability to
influence without formal authority
Ideal background with deployments in massive data platforms, teradata
warehouse and using self service deployment tools
