*10+ months* *$50/hr on c2c* *ONLY GC, USC* *FACE 2 FACE* Position Specifications: 1. Essential Training/Certifications: · 4 year Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, related fields or equivalent experience. Quality Assurance industry certification preferred (ie: Certified Software Test Engineer). · 5+ years of experience in Information Technology either as an application developer, test engineer or quality assurance analyst. · Ability to extract data, write SQL queries to manipulate data for testing purposes. Solid understanding of Web Technologies from quality assurance standpoint. Knowledge of testing tools such as Eclipse and Silk Performer are preferred, but not required. · Develop test plans, test cases and manual/automated test scripts based on business requirements. · Previous experience with automation and load testing tools, including but not limited to Silk Performer and Selenium IDE, is preferred. The candidate will be helping in creating the framework for automated test suites as well as running and maintaining these suites. · Experience with mobile testing is preferred. · Write and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks. · Execute test scripts to ensure business requirements are met. Perform functional testing, regression testing, bug fix verification, stress and load testing (when necessary) and post-deployment testing. · Communicate issues and possible causes through defect reports to team management for resolution. · Provide timely and accurate testing reports to Project Manager and Application Development Manager. · Coordinate and prepare testing documentation for User Acceptance Testing. · Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
