This candidate will work at the direction of the Lead Test Analyst to be a Senior QA Test Analyst resource for a major application development project. This Senior QA Test Analyst will need to be able to help guide business analysts to create testable business requirements, provide feedback on technical requirements, create test cases and test scripts. Knowledge of best practices surrounding manual testing is key but also the discernment to know how to modify those processes to right size the project is critical. This person must be a self starter and feel comfortable working independently as needed. They will need to represent QA in meetings as the QA subject matter expert, being able to speak confidently and defend their defects. This person should have experience testing web based applications and ideally experience testing websites. They should also be able to ask tough questions, present defects, the severity of those defects, document them in a detailed way using screen shots and paint a clear picture to the business/stakeholders of those defects. This person will participate in requirements gathering sessions and will also get to help automate some the test scripts.
