*ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE DB2 V10-11 UPGRADE EXPERIENCE on ZOs platform. * *Even if they do not have the skills below, they MUST have DB2 10 to 11 upgrade experience* *Position overview (day-to-day responsibilities, projects the position will be handling, size of team, products supporting, etc.):* Resource would work with BKFS contacts to manage/perform the work to upgrade existing DB2 V10 Datasharing groups to DB2 V11. This work would start at the SMPE level, with the review of Holds and review of existing BKFS configurations. The resource would document all activities and provide weekly updates to BKFS contacts. This work would include weekends (Sunday conversion activity). Resource will work with BKFS resource to review current system settings with an eye towards improving performance during the upgrade process. *Top skills/preferences in the role (please include any relevant technologies needed):* - IBM SMPE configuration, setup and usage skills. - IBM DB2 V11 upgrade experience, to include upgrade to “New Function Mode”. - IBM DB2 System performance and tuning. - Familiarity with Computer Associates RC/Admin tools a plus. *Manager’s interview process (phone interview, onsite interview, etc.):* Initial review will be a phone interview, with follow up/additional interview’s either Skype or onsite.
