*Job Role: DNS / DHCP Configuration / IP Address Management *
*Location: SFO, CA*
*Contract: 9+ Months*
*Job description:*
Perform Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
(DHCP) configuration and management, including:
i. Manage DNS Services, including:
a) adding or removing zones, records, and hosts
b) Configuring DNS properties
c) maintaining a database of DNS assignments/registrations
d) performing a periodic pruning/cleanup of stale static entries and
subnets
ii. Manage DHCP Services, including:
a) adding networks
b) adding ranges
c) viewing and maintaining DHCP leases
d) creating DHCP network templates
iii. Perform utilization and capacity monitoring and management
of the DNS/DHCP pool to avoid outages due to exhaustion of resources
iv. Provide IP Address Management (IPAM) Services, including:
a) installing, relocating and re-installing, upgrading, or adding a
Device
b) enabling or disabling services
c) creating and maintaining read and read-write accounts with limited
and/or full access
