She was local to Memphis and very westernized with great communication skills. She was more of a BA, but had many of the skills listed. - Must quickly become competent in internally developed and third party developed applications such as Cisco Agent Desktop, 1Source, Calabrio - Call control and multi-tasking skills, required. - Excellent customer service skills (personable and confident, able to defuse difficult situations, adaptable to fast-paced, quickly changing environment, ability to remain calm under pressure) - Detail oriented (important skill for ticket documentation) - Good “research” skills, self-directed and self-motivated; good analytical problem solving abilities and troubleshooting skills - Proficient knowledge and experience with MS-SQL data query and reporting, in addition to data extraction; - Proficient knowledge of information management, MS-SQL relational database design and development, business intelligence, data mining, and data science; - Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical, cross-functional environment, independently or as part of a team to meet goals and objective and deadlines while staying on task with daily assignments; Specific competencies required: Technical Learning, Listening, Composure, Customer Focus, Learning on the Fly, Problem Solving, Time Management, Dealing with Ambiguity, Patience, Conflict Management and, Decision Quality and Interpersonal Savvy Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus - Ability to lead without formal authority - Strong written, spoken communication with the ability to communicate technical topics to end users and management - Former lead or management experience - SQL Server 2012 development: stored procedures, SQL development (queries) - SQL server reporting services: - Object Oriented development: to effectively develop code - Visual Studio 2013 development in C#, LINQ, asynchronous processing, email integration - IIS: to host web sites – ASP .Net: to develop web sites - Visual Studio and Sharepoint , Office and Skype for Business integration through API and class libraries (.Net) - LINUX bsh, ksh and email administration - Jav, -PHP development - Tableau I spoke to the manager this morning. *He is looking for a Business Analyst that has very strong database knowledge.* *This person will be doing analytical work.* *Working with data. (gathering, analyzing, etc)* *Use data to improve using analytics.* *SQl server knowledge is important.* *Doing business analystis* *Building reports.* *Improving reporting.* *Under the Skills considered a plus below:* *He would like this person to have as many of those things as possible. Experience or knowledge in any of those is a major plus.
