*Position: **Infrastructure Automation Engineers. *
*Location: **Mooresville, NC*
*Duration: Long Term Contract*
*Job Description:*
- The goal of this project is create an infrastructure as a service
environment.
- Associate would be responsible for architecting and designing this
solution, documenting it and working with service partner to implement the
design.
- Must have Experience to part of a team that has done the automation
work and worked with the specific tools need to do this, such as Puppet
and Docker.
- Candidates should have an advanced understanding and have worked in a
Dev. Ops. environment.
- Additionally, candidates need to be familiar with Agile processes and
development methodologies.
- They should be very senior in their Linux engineering knowledge and
experience.
*Requirements:*
- 4+ years supporting highly available infrastructure systems
- Automated provisioning, configuration of many nodes with code
deployment and configuration management tools (*Chef*, Puppet)
- Supporting software container technologies *(Docker*)
- Software development experience with at least one language (Ruby,
Python, Java)
- Experience orchestration tools like Jenkins
- Strong experience in Linux Systems Administration and troubleshooting
- Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins
- Ability to pair with other engineers to dig into problems that occur
in production and ship production code
- Experience with source code repositories (Git, Stash)
- Experience with cloud environments like AWS
- Good communication skills to train and develop peers
*Preferred Qualifications*:
- Understanding and experience with code deployment and micro-services
- Cloud computing platforms (Cloud Foundry, Spring)
- Excellent problem solving skills, along with the ability to work
independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team
- Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or
data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Understanding of ITIL "best practices"
- Windows and Linux certifications
- Working knowledge of networking and security concepts
- Good understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or
MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience working with architecture or engineering disciplines
