Data Support Analyst Job Description: Seismic Data Loaders perform the centralized seismic data loading functions for Upstream Oil and Gas. Candidate will load data to the workstation for use with various Geoscience applications. Primary Job Functions: Retrieval of data from the databases, archives, disk or tapes (various vintages) Appropriate QC (data completeness, processing stream, amplitude content, etc.) Interfacing with the Seismic Data Coordinator and Business Unit customer on data requirements (how will the data be used, will the data be segregated by processing type, etc.) Loading the seismic data, in the correct file structure and class Problem solving (application, processing, interpretation, etc.) Geoscience Data Knowledge: Geophysical data (2D & 3D), formats, and common processing versions, Positioning data (x,ys), geodetics (datums and projections), Cartographic data (geographic and block boundaries) Linux Operating System GeoFrame 4.4 IESX knowledge and experience (especially data loading) Database retrieval skills (Oracle, SQL) PC Applications: MS Access, MS Excel and MS Word, Outlook SAP BW HANA Developer ,Warren,NJ This position is in Supply Chain IT. Individual will a member of the business intelligence development team delivering data, reporting & analytics needs for the business. The candidate will contribute to the intake, analysis, design, modeling, development, quality assurance and support of SAP BW HANA platform. - 5+ years hands-on experience implementing SAP BW - Understanding of core data warehouse concepts - Understanding of SAP supply chain and/or retail business process - Strong data modeling experience required.
