This project is part of a larger 3-year project to enhance the Customer Project Management System (CPMS), which is based on Pega 7. Skills & Requirements Drives design and development for major components of focused solutions Ensures delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices as defined by the team/organization/industry Has an advanced understanding of PRPC V7.X tools and leads development activities Knowledge of PRPC V7.X architecture Ability to translate business requirements into design/application builds Contributes to best practice definitions Analyzes, Identifies and logs enhancements/bugs for PRPC V7.X Drives delivery of assigned tasks on schedule Uses and promotes the use of best practice project management and testing tools by working in an Agile-SCRUM based work environment Functional Expertise: Strong technical acumen and ability to lead a development process. Proficient in a variety of business processes/environments. Understands large-scale system implementation processes and methods. Proficient with technology-based tools and processes. Customer service orientation. The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate. Pega LSA Certified (verifiable via Pega reference site). 12+ years of relevant industry experience. 7+ years of Architecture and Design of complex. applications experience in Enterprise Applications. Experience with integration technologies and database applications such as, but not limited to: SOAP, MQ, DB2, MS/SQL Strong object oriented design and implementation experience. Vertica Developer ,Columbus,OH Skills And Qualifications Hands on experience in data computing using Python and Vertica. Hands on experience in VSQL and Vertica Responsibilities data processing for large data sets. Hands on experience in understanding and implementing Vertica data concepts flattening, merging, aggregating, and projections. Hands on experience with Java and J2EE components will be advantageous Good knowledge objected oriented concepts, data structures Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes Strong unit test and debugging skills Good Communication skill set is must Bachelors Degree with 6+ years of IT experience and 3 years in Python and Vertica are a must. Responsibilities Perform Vertica regular analytics tasks - Organize tables, Analyze, segment tables. Create projections. Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize Vertica performance on Vertica Analytics Platform. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code in Python Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic Must have strong Technical knowledge of developing SQL with in Python scripts. Knowledge of XML Data structures is an added advantage.
