Ability to maintain the highest standard of data security and confidentiality. Principal Duties and Responsibilities o Excellent interpersonal skills o Database administration, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and vendor evaluation o Complex problem analysis and recovery o Technical consultation on complex projects o Complex database design, testing, debugging, and documentation o Selection and evaluation of tools/products related to database administration and development o Instructing, directing, and verifying the work of other DBA's o Performance monitoring, technical support, and trouble-shooting of database servers o Data integrity, backups, restores, replication, and disaster recovery o Database software installation and database configuration o Collaboration with vendors for problem analysis/resolution o Coordination of activities across multiple teams Qualifications -BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience -5+ years SQL database administration experience (2+ years with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014) in a networked environment including knowledge of complex SQL commands and structures.
