Skills And Qualifications Hands on experience in data computing using Python and Vertica. Hands on experience in VSQL and Vertica Responsibilities data processing for large data sets. Hands on experience in understanding and implementing Vertica data concepts flattening, merging, aggregating, and projections. Hands on experience with Java and J2EE components will be advantageous Good knowledge objected oriented concepts, data structures Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes Strong unit test and debugging skills Good Communication skill set is must Bachelors Degree with 6+ years of IT experience and 3 years in Python and Vertica are a must. Responsibilities Perform Vertica regular analytics tasks - Organize tables, Analyze, segment tables. Create projections. Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize Vertica performance on Vertica Analytics Platform. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code in Python Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic Must have strong Technical knowledge of developing SQL with in Python scripts.
