If you find yourself comfortable with the requirement please reply back with your updated resume. *Job Role: Technical Systems Analyst - Application Performance Management* *Location: Toronto, ON OR Remote * *Duration: Long Term Contract* *Responsibilities: * · Responsible for implementation and support of new monitoring solutions · Work through service partners to resolve all issues impacting monitoring solutions. · Resolve assigned Incidents within establishes SLAs · Identify chronic problems, design and implement a remediation plan. · Identify opportunities for automation and improving monitoring success. · Contribute to development activities designed to improve monitoring solutions. · Assist business units and functional units with their specific monitoring needs. · Develop proposals for senior management. · Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies. · Participate in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications, programs and unit test plans. · Ensure operational procedures are documented. · Equal participation in 7x24 pager support. · Conduct application performance reviews with application teams to identify hotspots and application errors. · Create dashboards to demonstrate application health and provide business level context on how the applications are being used. · Setup User Experience Management to better understand the client experience with our services. *Required Skills: * · Technical Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience · Experience using/configuring dynatrace would be a large asset. · Must have in depth knowledge of J2EE and .Net based technologies. · Must have in depth knowledge of web based technologies. · Working knowledge of APM products and how they work · Experience configuring or installing IIS, Apache, Websphere, or other web server technology. · In depth knowledge of computing technologies, distributed and mainframe. · Experience with other programming languages an asset. · Working knowledge of systems monitoring technologies. · In depth knowledge of SQL, XML, and messaging. · Working knowledge of networking technologies.
