- As a Senior Java software developer focused on the Financial Services sector you will be - responsible for working with clients to deliver complete solutions. - You will have delivered enterprise-level client solutions and have been through the process gaining valuable experience on what works and doesn - ou will be writing fully testable code, deploying software to various infrastructures, training - clients, and troubleshooting problems. *Main Responsibilities:* - Primary client facing developer working with client product owners to scope, develop and deliver world-class software solutions - Work directly with Product Management, Sales and platform team to design and develop new product features to win new business - Comfortable presenting to prospective customers and implement demos and proof-of- concepts as part of the sales cycle - Influence / lead projects and technical direction of both product and solutions *Required Skills and Experience:* - 10+ years Java development experience in Capital Markets/Asset Management solution development with recent experience using Java 8 features - Core Java mandatory, C, C++ ideal - Demonstrated experience designing and developing solutions from inception through implementation - REST API development and management - Experience developing for and deploying software to various PaaS providers (e.g. AWS) and container technologies (e.g. docker) - Experience with both Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) - Technical lead on projects. - Focused on building technical solutions to meet Client projects.
