*Position: Cassandra Developer*
*Location: **Westlake, TX*
*Duration: 6 Months – Contract*

Must have skills :
- In depth knowledge and hands on experience in Big Data Eco system
- 5 to 8 years Experience in design and implementation of complex large
Databases including NoSQL DB and RDBMS
- 5 + years Hands on Experience in Cassandra NoSQL Database and RDBMS
(preferred Oracle)
- As a Senior Data Engineer , is responsible Data modeling , Complex
Data base architectural design, Development, Integration, Administration
and Support using Cassandra
- Experience in Design and Migration of data from RDBMS to Cassandra
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in code migration, database change management and data
management through the various stages of the development life cycle;
- Knowledge of Cassandra systems including but not limited to: backup
and recovery, security and maintenance and tuning on both server and
database;
- In depth knowledge of building Cassandra and its tools executable from
the source code;
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting the Cassandra environment in a
high pressure production environment.
- Using monitoring and management tools
- Troubleshoot Cassandra issues
- Automate manual tasks
- Disk space management
