*Title: **Ab Initio Developer/Lead/Architect* *Location: **Trevose, Philadelphia* *Duration; Long Term* *10 Positions…….Today Interviews……..* *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* · Evaluate the feasibility of the enterprise architecture and technologies related to a business change or opportunity. · Identify risks associated with the enterprise architecture and various technologies. · Advise on trends and emerging technologies and strategies. · Ensure technology consistency and integration with business strategies. · Lead in prioritizing and implementing architectural improvements. · Recommend alternative technical solutions, methodologies or strategies. · Develop architectural improvement plans. · Performs a key management and thought leadership role in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, text mining, data discovery, statistical methods, database design and implementation. · Defines and achieves the strategy roadmap for the enterprise; including data modeling, implementation and data management for our enterprise data warehouse and advanced da · Defines and achieves the strategy roadmap for the enterprise; including data modeling, implementation and data management for our enterprise data warehouse and advanced data analytics systems. · Setting the vision, gathering requirements, gaining business consensus, performing vendor and product evaluations, mentoring business and development resources, deliver solutions, training and documentation. · Provides leadership in establishing analytic environments required for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Proven record of accomplishment to drive rapid prototyping and design for new projects and analytic R&D environments. · Ability to translate broader business initiatives into clear team objectives and concrete individual goals, aligning appropriately with other groups for efficient, coordinated action. · Defines and implements the strategy roadmap for enterprise data, implementation and data management for new data sources, publicly available data, business-to-business partnerships and advanced Data Analytics systems *Skillsets required* · Minimum 15 years of experience with solution architecture; awareness of both current and developing technologies. · 8 + years in architecture related activities. · Strong logical data modeling and database design, data warehousing knowledge and experience, data movement and ETL experience · Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL), or equivalent work experience · Understanding of data storage technologies: relational databases/SQL, XML, JSON, etc · Experience processing large structured or unstructured datasets · Strong quantitative and analytical skills · Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Hive or Pig, or other distributed computing platform · Cloud architecture and infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, EMR, etc). · Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
