*Position: **SAP-BW HANA Architect* *Location: **Milwaukee WI* *Duration: Long Term* *Need GC/USC only…..* *Job Description* Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics for GE Lighting and Current, powered by GE, the Sr Application Operations Engineer for SAP-BW will be responsible for the day to day operational support and escalations for the SAP-BW environment, the BI reporting tools and reports, andassociated interfaces. The candidate will establish operating rhythms with Product Owners, the Development team, and Business users to deliver best in class service and support. *Essential Responsibilities* • Engage stakeholders for operational issues and planned maintenance events. • Manage all escalations and major outages • Provide daily break fix support • Define root cause failures and develop solutions for proper controls/prevention. • Partner with development team to take knowledge transfer of new solutions and changes in the evolving application landscape. • Lead regular operations reviews and drive excellence • Seek and deliver continuous improvement opportunities to optimize application performance, data quality & accuracy, application availability and operational optimization. • Develop and/or enhance support process standards, communication, tracking, escalation and resolution. • Demonstrate technical expertise and end-to-end architectural understanding across SAP BW/HANA technologies to efficiently troubleshoot and improve application performance and availability. *Qualifications / Requirements* • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Engineering/Business Management with minimum 5+ years of SAP BW work experience leading projects and operations. • Experience in new implementations / roll-out /Enhancements and Support. • Experience in all technical aspects of SAP-BW environment including design, build, performance tuning and operations. • Operational experience of managing multiple SAP products and versions including but not limited to ECC, BW, HANA, Information Steward, Data Services. • Experience of leading a technical team, performing technical reviews, setting operational standards. • Experience in working with globally distributed multi-cultural teams. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Highly motivated, Self-starter. *Desired Characteristics* • Strong interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills. • Strong debugging and problem solving skills. • Prior experience in system design, architecture and performance tuning. • Experience with server configurations, software installations, and upgrades. • Ability to work effectively across functions in a matrix environment. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Quick learner – able to efficiently seek out, learn, & apply new areas of expertise as needed. • Highly motivated, able to work independently. • Passion for technology, continuous learning initiated through self study and curiosity. • Operational excellence focus – willingness to challenge designs, seek automation opportunities, create repeatable processes – with abilities to engage extended teams to create a shared vision and implementation plan. *Thanks & Regards* Ranjith Kumar Vemula IDC Technologies, Inc Work: 408-648-2170 Mailto: ranjith.vem...@idctechnologies.com <booti.pra...@idctechnologies.com> *Empowering Technologies Services* Remote Services | IT Services | BPO | IT Consulting | Staffing Solutions | -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
