Please include your employer details as well if any. *Job Title - UX Designer* *Location **- **NY-New York/Lake Success* *Duration - **6 Months / Contract To Hire* *MOI- **Telephonic +F2F * *USC or GC or EAD-GC Only* *Description* The UX Designer is responsible for user interface design, workflow and execution throughout the Cox Automotive family of products, including: reviewing prioritized customer needs, converting research into user interface designs, and working closer with UX leadership, product managers and engineers to ensure designs and workflows are correctly built, tested and deployed into the product. The UX Designer’s job also includes ensuring that their designs and workflows continue to support the company's overall vision, strategy and goals. *Your Role:* · Design next-generation user interface screens and workflows for product all across the Cox family of solutions; Ensure that these designs take advantage of next-generation technologies and techniques · Create mockups, wireframes, and provide any other relevant materials for UX, Product and Engineering teams · Ensure user interface designs follow established corporate standards while helping to grow the library of common style patterns · Conduct user research to inform design decisions; Keep abreast of best practices for user-centered design · Work with product and engineering management to ensure efficient testing and release of designs into the product · Act as the design expert for assigned products · Provide clear documentation of design standards and interaction patterns *Qualifications* · Bachelor's Degree · Experience: 1-3 yrs designing with UX practices, strong understanding of product development, all user experience disciplines, Lean UX and Agile methodologies · Strong proficiency working with diagramming and prototyping software, as well as familiarity with front-end code and web / mobile-based environments · Specific experience with mobile, tablet and web responsive design · Usability studies – scripts, tests, analysis and reports · Excellent communication skills.
