Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Duration: 6+ month contract.

*Role: Senior Oracle Developer to develop complex Reports (primarily 6i and
discoverer) in HR and PR modules*.
*Oracle Developer*
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the development of
Reports (primarily 6i and discoverer) in the HR and PR modules of Oracle.
This person will be responsible for working within the AIM methodology to
create complex reports. This person will also work within the Financial
modules of the eBusiness suite. Experience with forms will be a secondary
skill set required although their primary role will be developing reports.
Experience with XML publisher is not necessary but a “nice to haveâ€
skill. Strong communication skills are essential.
This position is in St. Louis.
Overall, the duties for this person will include some or all of the
following, depending on the project load:
Duties
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot complex Oracle Reports 6i.
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot complex Oracle Forms 6i.
- Create programs, triggers, stored procedures using PL/SQL
- Integrate customizations with Oracle Apps (E-Business Suite,
HRMS/Payroll, Project Accounting).
- Create scripts to deploy customizations into production.
- Develop reports using Discoverer 10g (including EUL and Views)
- Work closely with business decision makers and end users.
- Assist in analysis and recommendations on which Report tool to use
- Work with functional team members to develop MD050 documents
- Experience with Oracle Forms and module customization
- Analyze AIM documentation accuracy and technical function
Should have
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Over 7 years experience with Oracle Applications (11.5.10 HR, PR,
Financials).
- Over 7 years experience with Oracle Report Builder 6i.
- Over 7 years experience with Oracle Forms Builder 6i.
- Over 7 years experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience developing AIM documentation (MD050, MD070, MD110, MD120)
- Experience with custom applications running on Oracle.
- Experience working with end users.
- Use of PL/SQL to integrate data sets.
- Development of complex Oracle reports that utilize the following:
multiple queries, multiple groups and levels of repeating
frames, calls to
PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions, formula and summary columns,
materialized views, format triggers and layout customization, lexical
parameters, export to Excel, and report registration in Oracle
Applications.
- Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder
Other
- Experience with Oracle Discoverer 10g.
- Experience with Oracle XML Publisher.
· Experience with Toad or SQL Developer.
