This architecture is initially being used to build new Margins and Billing systems. A number of other projects are currently being initiated, which will lead to the development of new clearing, pricing, and settlement applications based on the new architecture/infrastructure. The new consultant position will be involved with • Support current production applications which are using Java (this architecture is based on Java on client side and C++ on server side using CORBA). • Design and development of new applications using Client and Server Java/AJAX architecture framework. *Responsibilities*** • Develop Rich GUI applications with dynamically generated content using Java, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS. • Coach and mentor other developers new to Web2.0 client-side development. • During analysis phase, work with the project teams to develop high-level approaches for new applications. • Provide enhancements to existing applications. *Required Skills* • 3-4 years Hands-on Spring/Java development experience with systems that have gone to Production successfully. • 2 or more years of significant front-end web development and UI design experience is required.
