REQ 1 : POS SENIOR TESTERS* Expert in Point of Sales with Retail domain. POS Inventory Management, Loss Prevention The job involves Point-of-sale application testing. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field. 4 year business or IT related experience 4 years experience in performing and coordinating Quality Assurance activities 2 years experience in a POS test engineer role is desirable 3 years experience helping create and manage the execution of Quality Assurance plans Training on Software Quality Assurance best practices Training and experience with iterative development processes such as RUP or agile methodology, is desirable Ability to create and interpret SQL, utilizing sub queries and aggregate functions is required Experience with relational database queries and object oriented design is required Strong business analysis skills are preferred Experience with configuration management processes in conjunction with software suppliers and internal developers is desirable Experience analyzing testing practices and making recommendations to build automation into the testing process is a plus Experience with a majority of the following testing types is required: functional, integration, migration, security, GUI, reporting, regression, performance, ad hoc and user-acceptance testing.
