Location: Herndon VA, Duration: 2 months Rate: $55-58/hr Database Administrator II is responsible for monitoring space usage, monitoring Database monitoring setup/Audit Sox, Maintenance and Scripting, Data Refreshes, Oracle Trouble Shooting, Performance Tuning, Database Administration, Database Change Management Qualification Rating Company Default Category 3-5 years of DBA experience * 5+ Yrs. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field * Yes Excellent knowledge of one or more of the major DBMS systems * 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert) Excellent knowledge of software upgrade procedures * 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert) Professional certification(s) desired * Yes Strong communication skills (written and verbal) * 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert) Strong leadership skills * 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert) Technology Skills: Programming Languages PL/SQL 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) Technology Skills: Software Applications Strong knowledge of DBMS system including backups, tuning, user maintenance and system maintenance 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert) Technology Skills: Specialized/Miscellaneous Knowledge of Database Systems and Application Servers * 5 (Expert) of 5 (Expert) Work Experience: IT Experience with Unix, Troubleshooting or Telecom * Yes Senior Oracle Production DBA POSITION Senior DBA leads the design, configuration and implementation of the DBMS.
