Financial Engineer Job description • Maintain and enhance existing credit analytics for pricing Single Family transactions and for managing Single Family credit portfolio. • Lead the effort in developing and building credit risk management applications based on new credit risk models and business requirements. • Validating and testing new credit analytics models and new credit risk management methodologies. • Perform business analyses to support pricing and risk management decisions. • Support system documentation and ensure software development standard. • Interact with both internal and external group members and business users to help further understanding these new models in the business applications. • Investigate and use new technologies and tools as needed. Qualification • At least 5-7 years experience in system analysis, design and programming in C++ and/or an equivalent computer language with strong emphasis in numerical programming. • Experience in UNIX, database and good PC skills. • Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as economics, finance, operations research, applied mathematics, statistics or computer science or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills required. • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required. • 3-5 years experience in developing economic and/or financial model and/or financial applications. Experience in secondary mortgage market highly desirable. Contracts / SubContracts Manager Ashburn, Virginia 6 Months. Large Telecommunications company is looking for a Contracts/Subcontracts Manager to do the following: Prepare and approve for execution: • Non-Disclosure documents; conduct solicitation analysis, including risk analysis and prepare mitigation recommendations of risk mitigation options. • Preparation of Representations and Certifications, Small Business Plans development, management and reporting. • Prepare and negotiate teaming and subcontract agreements. • Coordinate with and secure legal approval of contractual actions. • Review and approve contract actions for management execution. • Serve as the primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer and Sales Representative. • Support account teams in customer meetings. • Responsible for tracking and reporting contractual actions on all assigned contracts. • Participate in internal and external contract audits to ensure compliance with company's standards for negotiation and management of contracts; • participate in proposal development meetings. • Work independently with little supervision to meet time-sensitive deadlines. Requirements Must have: • experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures relating to Federal Government contracting. • Responsible for providing pre-award and post-award contract administration functions and monitoring of contract compliance. • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment with very tight deadlines. • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal and organizational skills required. • Must be able to interact effectively with senior management, be a working manager, and able to work in a team environment. Excellent analytical skills are required. • Must have a thorough understanding of FAR, DFAR and GSAM. .
