Title: SQL Server DBA
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6 months
Description:
Our Client is seeking a short term (estimated at 4-6 months) contractor to
work with its ITS to support the implementation and administration of
databases on SQL server to meet the business requests.
Applications supported include a third party system to be deployed on the
SQL server database fed from an enterprise ORACLE DSS Database.
Candidate will provide support for enterprise implementation and assume
daily DBA tasks on maintaining the SQL server to serve our client's
customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required:
- SQL Server DBA experience at enterprise level
- Data modeling skills are required
- Experience in data migration and data reporting
- Solid hands-on SQL coding skills
- Experience working with customers across teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in supporting other RDMS are helpful.
- Experience working in hybrid and distrbuted database environments.
- Experience in GeoDatabase, spatial layer and GIS servers administration.
- Experience with ORACLE APEX administration and development.
