Job Title: LEAD SAP FICO Location: Richmond, VA** Duration: 6 MONTHS CONTRACT TO HIRE** Rate: Open *EAD/GC/CITIZEN* * Job Summary* This position is responsible for the day to day production support, configuration and testing of finance to manage applications. Individual will work with end users and team members on support, implementation, and optimization issues. The position may lead efforts associated with delivering additional finance to manage application solutions. The position will require some level of travel. (Up to 25%) *Job Responsibilities* · Configuration of SAP Finance modules o Finance (General Ledger) o Controlling o Cost Center Accounting o Profit Center Accounting o Profitability Analysis o Product Costing o Internal Orders o Treasury o Asset Management o Investment Management o Asset Accounting o Project Systems o BW based Business Consolidations Systems (BCS) · Support and enhancement of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes. · Design and support of domestic and international tax related SAP applications such as Vertex and DaRT. · Identifying and resolving the root cause of day to day production and interface issues. · Collaboration with the finance organization to research, define and deploy new process improvements. · Developing functional specifications to support the deployment of custom functionality. · Testing of changes through the financial application landscape from development to production which would include integration via BW based BCS for Corporate consolidations. · Participate as a finance functional team member on implementations of existing or new finance functionality by translating requirements into a functional design as well as coordinating and executing the development and implementation of the solution. · Lead the implementation efforts of existing or new finance functionality by gathering, defining and translating business requirements into a functional design as well as coordinating and executing the development, testing and implementation of the solution · Participate in divestiture and/or legal entity change activities as needed. · Support of SAP archiving initiatives for finance objects. *Minimum Job Requirements* · Bachelors' degree in finance or accounting · Excellent written and oral communication skills to support the collaboration with the finance organization in delivering innovative and cost effective solutions · Documented SAP implementation experience (SAP R/3 Release 4.6C or higher) · SAP Report Writer/Painter experience is a plus · 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in the above areas of responsibility · 1-2 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility · Experience with managing small IT SAP projects *Preferred Job Requirements* · MBA and/or CPA, CMA · 3-4 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in several of the above areas of responsibility · 3-4 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility · Experience with managing IT SAP projects of medium complexity -- Thanks & Regards.
