Job description - Lead Technical Trainer Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, coordinate the work efforts of a team responsible for developing training to transfer knowledge of a large and complex software product to an offshore software development team. The training effort has been scoped as seven overview courses. Essential Functions: • Project manage all aspects of the knowledge transfer training effort. • Coordinate the work efforts of a team of course developers and technical writers. • Work with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to define the course topics and determine the information gaps. • Create design documents, outlines, and objectives for each course. • Define templates, styles, and standards and ensure that team members apply them consistently across all courses. • Repurpose existing content into engaging PowerPoint slides. • Coach SMEs on how to effectively present technical training.
