Já tinha conseguido resolver, obrigado. O meu problema é de NFS, eu estava montando o simples, e tive que alterar o meu fstab para montar desse jeito:
192.168.1.101:/backup/ /backup nfs rw,bg,intr,hard,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,tcp,vers=3,timeo=600,actimeo=0 0 0 Assim funcionou sem problemas.
