Location: Houston,TX Client: TFG Petrolium 1 month Rate: 50$ SAN Engineer with scripting Please send me the resumes to [email protected] Job Summary: Engineer will work on a PeopleSoft team supporting client based support team with high skilled technical resources. The Engineer will be responsible for configuring a SUN/STK SAN (installed and supporting some SUN servers today) to support and additional two four Sun Servers hosting PeopleSoft. The Engineer will need to be able to allocate storate, review existing design, make recommendations, etc. Additionally, the engineer will support clustering and DR initiatives and must have expereince scripting taking snapshots and moving them to another facility, machine, etc. The engineer will be working on a project with specific, non-moving delivery dates and be expected to function as an advisor and team member. (All hardware is a new installation, just recently configured.) Job Responsibilities: Participate in a Managed Solution project supporting a PeopleSoft implementation. Allocate space on SUN/STK SAN for new Sun Servers as they are added to clusters and the solution. Allocate paratitions on SUN/STK solution. Support SUN clustering solution Review exisitng configuration and confirm industry best practice was used for configuration and installation. Support and conduct failover test in the environment. Utilize CAM software to manage portions of the SUN/STK solution. Cretae KORN SHELL or Perl scritps to get snapshots of data and move to another server solution.
