Title: Mobile Middleware Developer Location: Atlanta, GA. Duration: 3+ Months Position purpose: Candidate will design, develop and implement mobile applications (telephony and handheld) based on mobile technologies such as .NET, INTALIO and Appear Software. Key Result Areas: Design/Development • Designs/ Develops mobile applications based on .NET, INTALIO and Appear Software technologies • Develops BPMs based on INTALIO technologies • Integrates mobile applications into Appear AIQ server • Reviewing requirements for mobile middleware services and translates that to actual designs • Gather customer requirements in XML and UML notations. Understand complex workflows and translate them into development requirements • Support the sales process from a technology point of view • Be at ease in external project meetings Knowledge, Skills and Experience required: Education and Training Engineering and/or Computer Sciences degree is desired Knowledge and Skills • Java development is a must • .NET skill is a plus • C/C++ skill is a plus • Proven analytical skills in Business Process Analysis as well as design skills of solutions using commercial-off-the-shelf BPM technology • Familiar with Software Development Concepts and Challenges • Must understand and be able to implement network security • Good understanding of database design, couplings and infrastructure • Strong understanding of Web Services and Protocols like HTTP, SOAP, SMTP, X400, SSL is a Must • Must be familiar with Linux, JBoss and other open source based technology such as INTALIO • Shell Script programming in UNIX/LINUX environment is needed • Practical knowledge of SubVersion or other Source Control Packages • Must be able to use UNIX/LINUX/Windows development tools (e.g, grep, find, cc, tar, awk, etc.) • Must be familiar UNIX/LINUX/Windows operating systems (e.g, AIX and RedHat etc.) • Must be a fast learner and willing to take training courses where necessary • Must be able to work in a team environment • Must be able to finish tasks with minimum supervision • Some travelling may be required • Will require 24 hours on call duties and carrying pagers, cell phone or like devices, work on or be on-call during official holidays • Capable of establishing and maintaining high level contacts • Highly motivated in meeting challenging objectives and goals • Capable of working in complex and fast evolving environment • Ability to question current environment and promote change management • Strong organization and good interpersonal and team working skills is required • Excellent time management skills • Excellent communication skills in order to deliver/write clear concise instructions • Proactive attitude & Team Spirited Experience • Minimum 5 years experience in the design & architecture of complex middleware solutions • 2-6 years supporting Mobile Middleware products, specifically new generation handheld technology. Requires expert level design & architecture skills using complex middleware technology • 2-6 years experience from both Java and Microsoft development. Including techniques such as Java, JEE, Microsoft Win32 and the .Net environment • Full understanding of wired & wireless IP networking is a must (including all surrounding technologies and equipments) • Experience in designing solutions that distribute applications and/or content to mobile devices • Experience in business analysis and design of BPM solutions • Experience in international projects is desirable • Experience in ECLIPSE and NetBeans is required If you are interested in this position please respond with updated résumé, rate and Contact details ASAP.
