I need a very solid Java front end developer for Bank of America. Need someone with Credit risk experience, 1+ Years contract, NYC. Don’t send me any resumes with our Credit Risk Experince. *JOB PURPOSE:* A senior developer is required for software development & analysis within the Credit Risk Technology group. This role would be suitable for an individual interested in working in a dynamic fast paced environment. *DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:* * *The department is responsible for the development and maintenance of new and existing systems which are used by Credit Risk, Treasury, Legal Management and Legal Negotiator users. Applications are developed and maintained within the New York, New Jersey and Mumbai Office’s with users based in Global ML Offices. * * *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Liaise with business users to define and document requirements. - Work with users and technology team members to identify solutions to business requirements. - Deliver software components to specification and time as directed by manager. - Support Global users of applications - Strong SQL /Database skills required for this role. - Develop and execute rollout plans. *SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:* - Degree in a Technology related subject. - +5 years of Java experience - Strong programming skills - *Strong GUI development experience in Java/JSP* ** - Detailed Knowledge & Experience of Relational Databases (SQL Server) - *Experience with full end-to-end web app development including Struts or an analogous framework * - *Development experience in **JavaScript** and DOM, DHTML* ** - *Development experience in a **JavaScript framework such as ExtJS or YUI** or an analogous framework * - *Experience with Subversion, CVS, Ant or Maven* ** - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Self starter with positive attitude - Team player - *Desirable **to have *Linux/Unix server side experience. Shell scripting, Unix commands, etc. - *Desirable **to have *AJAX (prototype or dojo) experience. - *Desirable **to have CVS* (Branching and Merging) experience.
