Prefer local candidates first Max Rate is 50hr Perform the following non-technical tasks associated with the project: -Work closely with the project manager to determine timeframes for moving applications behind the firewall. -Work with business unit application owners to coordinate time, resources, and validation for application move behind the firewall. -Create change tickets with Remedy that will outline work to be performed and understand Client’s change management policies. -Update all necessary drawings/documentation for each application move. -Provide feedback on all project related activities in a timely manner and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Perform the following technical tasks associated with the project: -Provide initial research of applications to be moved behind firewall which will involve determining IP addressing, router, load balancing and DNS/GSS configurations. -Create configs for both Cisco Routers and Juniper SRX firewalls in order to move applications behind the firewall. -Migrate up applications behind firewall based upon configs created by resource or other engineers. -Troubleshoot connectivity/performance issues real time at time of application migration on both Cisco and Juniper devices. -Roll back configurations in a timely manner if application migration behind firewall is unsuccessful for any reason. -Create firewall rules with data provided by the Client TMS groups. Rules will be based on source address, destination address, application. -Implement/manage Firewall rules on an ongoing basis until application is locked down in accordance to Client standards. -Change rate will be 5-6 changes of the type described above per week. -Work is expected to include both workday for planning and evenings for change implementation.
