The Manager informed that UNIX is not a requirement. *Windows System Administrator * Date needed: -Immediately Rate: $40/hr Best Locations-listed below Contract Length: 6 months *We would prefer to have them located in Silver Springs, MD, but the following locations are also acceptable:* - *Philadelphia**, PA* - *Arlington**, VA* - *Temple Terrace**, FL* - *Dallas/Irving, TX* *Key Skills:* - Minimum of 3 years of System Administration experience on LINUX, HPUX, AIX and Solaris and their associated hardware platforms. - Minumum of 3 years of experience with Volume Management for HP, AIX, Solaris and Veritas. - Minimum of 1year of experience with SAN systems and Emulex interface cards. - Minimum of 1year of experience with Server Virtualization practices and policies. - Minimum of 3 years of UNIX shell programming. - Minimum of 1 year experience with UNIX software packaging tools. - Minimum of 1 year of experience with Red Hat Linux Administration. *Context:* The ideal candidate would have experience in the configuration of UNIX and Intel servers for deployment into test, development and production data center environments. All configuration is performed remotely, there is no physical access to the data center where the machines reside. The Day-to-Day requires loading and configuring a UNIX server containing a basic O/S with a client provide standard configuration.
