Title: Datewarehouse/Front End Performance Analyst:
Location: Bay Area, CA

*Below is the Data warehouse FE Analyst requirement:*
- Client is looking for a senior data warehouse performance analyst
having extensive experience working with OBIEE / Seibel / ESSSbase / BO and
Informatica.
- Ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience working in the
above mentioned technologies.
- The position demands an analyst with the ability to think on his feet
and present his case to management.
- We are looking for around 5 years of Seibel/ OBIEE administration
experience.
- More than 5 years of Teradata experience is mandatory.
- 2 to 5 years professional working experience with Business Objects,
Essbase and Informatica.
- Oracle to Teradata migration experience would be a plus.
*Qualification and Experience:*
- In-depth understanding of OBIEE / Seibel /BO / EssBase Architectural
components.
- Ability to diagnose performance issues and make recommendations for
resolving them.
- Experience monitoring SAW /SAS performance and ability to identify
shortcoming or bottlenecks.
- Strong working experience with Siebel configuration files and other
setup parameters and optimizing them for various application needs.
- Ability to interpret logs files (NQ etc) and identifying performance
bottlenecks.
- Provide recommendation on Siebel development process and best practices
to development teams.
- Provide guidance on troubleshooting performance issues and coordinating
with internal support teams.
- Provide support to new applications during and after implementation.
- BO Implementation experience.
- Expertise in Business Objects Universe / cubes design and development.
- Experience with Essbase Metadata Management.
- Experience using Business Objects with teradata.
- Experience in Informatica scheduling optimization / streamlining of
ETL's.
- Good presentation and leadership skills are warranted.
- Exposure on working with globally located teams (different time zones).
- Self driven and ability to take charge and work with minimal or no
supervision.
- Ability to work in fast paced, technology environment.
*POSITION 2:*
Title: Teradata Analyst/Arch
Location: San Jose CA
Duration: 6 month
Rate: DOE
Please check with your candidates:
- They are looking for candidates who worked on Teradata Migration or
implementation project experience.
- While working on migrating or implementation what kind of performance
issues they got and how did they resolve them.
*Responsibilities*:
- Work with application teams to identify critical performance bottlenecks
and provide recommendations for improving the same.
- Participate/ drive Teradata related performance issue discussions
/meetings.
- Define, share and implement performance best practices and procedures.
- Provide technical performance leadership to the team
- Use Teradata tools to optimize query performance.
- Make recommendations on performance measures and methods of improving
same.
- Develop additional performance measures as needed.
- Ability to multitask with multiple projects at any point in time.
- Manage customer expectations to ensure strong customer satisfaction by
meeting the business needs for IT systems in a timely manner.
- Good communications skills - Ability to work in a global team environment
with information/knowledge sharing
- Ability to rapidly adapt to the organization and come up to speed.
*Qualification and Experience:*
- Thorough Teradata System knowledge as indicated by:
- 7+ years of Teradata large data warehouse experience to include:
- 5+ years of data warehouse application development
- 2+ years experience of working with TASM tools.
- 3+ years experience working with Teradata load/unload
utilities.
- Thoroughly familiar with Teradata V12 database system.
- Experience as a Teradata DBA very desirable.
- Architecture experience in large data warehouse implementations using
Teradata.
- Thorough knowledge of 3NF as well as Star Schema and Snowflake database
design concepts.
- Experience with tools such as OBIEE, Business Objects and Seibel desirable
- Proven experience with performance management in complex, mission-critical
projects in large organizations is desired.
- Strong sense of leadership, strong analytical skills and excellent
communication skills.
