For this position we need someone with application performance engineering / performance management skills who also has very good communication skills, both verbal and written. This person will be responsible for creating written test plans and reports for technical, project management and management associates so the person needs the ability to communicate to various levels of the organization. Good problem solving and analytical skills are important as well. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting performance tests for a large project to install a new membership application across the WellPoint enterprise. It encompasses mainframe and midrange technologies including DB2, IMS, AIX, Informatics ETL, IBM Web sphere Customer Care and MQ Series. This position will coordinate performance testing for a group of subject matter experts in each of the areas mentioned above so good leadership, decision making and meeting facilitation skills are essential.
