In addition, leads the testing for new applications to determine impact on existing hardware and software, creates test plans, determines testing strategies and provides consulting to project teams to ensure complete testing occurs, researches testing trends and industry best practices, documents and assists in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise and a high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required. * * *RESPONSIBILITIES: * The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work with little or no supervision Analyze business requirements and technical specification documents to develop the test cases and scenarios The position will also include working with business and technical resources to analyze problems encountered in testing and determining changes required to correct problems Participate in test planning, coordination and resource estimation for the project Should be able to track and monitor the testing progress of the project and provide status to test lead and manager Coordinate with different teams Identify issues and followed through to completion Work on multiple projects simultaneously Manage the test effort for the project Manage the defect tracking and resolution process and the organization of the testing artifacts. * * *REQUIRED SKILLS:* Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant experience.
