Candidates must have previous experience performing system and application administration for high transaction volume, high availability web applications. Strong technical and communications skills are a must. Skills** • Previous experience deploying and maintaining J2EE applications. Specific experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, TomCat or other J2EE Applications servers is required. • Ability to develop and run SQL scripts for database maintenance activities • Previous experience deploying and maintaining Windows servers in load balanced environments. • Previous experience deploying and maintaining MS SQL Server 2005 in clustered environments. • Previous experience with load and performance monitoring tools. • Working knowledge of VMWare. • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with the use of system and application logs to troubleshoot errors. • 5+ years experience in with web based application administration. • MCSE or MCDBA is preferred.
