Location : Frankfort,KY: Duration : 3 Months Job Description : ·* The requires specific technical knowledge about the administration and control of the data warehouse environment, including the database, operating systems and tools. ·* The DBA will provide services to administer, maintain, and control the data warehouse including the database, operating systems, and tools. · *The Database Administrator may be the Lead Consultant on a project; Additional Job Description: ·* Education industry (P-20) experience heavily preferred. ·* Successful candidate will primarily be responsible to develop, schedule and monitor · ETL using eSchoarl eDM and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). · *Routine Database Administrator duties in a clustered SQL Server 2005 environment will also be performed by the successful candidate. * Candidate must be available to work onsite in Frankfort, KY. ·* Relocation and travel will not be reimbursed. Specific requirements of the position include: ·* Administer, monitor and tune, backup and restore clustered (active/passive) 64bit SQLServer databases ·* Perform analysis of source system data to determine appropriateness for inclusion into a data warehouse. ·* Perform source to target mapping specifications for bringing new data into the data warehouse *· Develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs using Microsoft SSIS and external programming/scripting languages, as necessary *· Provide production support including troubleshooting and resolution *· Document ETL jobs using standard word processing tools including Microsoft Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
