Hi friends, Please read the requirement and sent matching profiles only We need only locals or near by to MI for F2F interview Java, VXML and any type of speech experience will be ok Position: Technology Specialist Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 8 Months Rate: $ 50-55/Ph MAX Desired Start Date: 4/26/2010 Estimated End Date: 12/31/2010 GENERIC DESCRIPTION: With general guidance and coaching, participates in design, development and implementation of specific new and emerging technologies, platforms and services. Assists in the assessment of technical viability of new products and technologies. Works with developers and infrastructure specialists to pilot and evaluate new technologies. Participates in development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Significant creativity is required. Minimum 3 years related experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: System integration and development Write modify and debug software for client applications Use source debuggers and visual development environments Write code to create single-threaded or user interface event-driven applications, either stand-alone and/or those which access servers or services Test and document software for client applications REQUIRED: Experience with VXML and JAVA Hands on experience with CVP Studio, and Nuance speech recognition products 3-5 years experience with software development leadership Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and process design tools 3+ years experience with J2EE, database design (Oracle) Has developed and executed a full spectrum of tests on multiple applications and Environments. Has participated in all aspects of user acceptance testing and end to end testing. Can discuss issues and considerations for testing client/server applications. Candidate must be highly motivated and ready to provide outstanding application development skills and support to the user community. Candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be willing to learn new skills and share knowledge as needed.
