*****NOTE: A SQL test NEEDS to be taken by candidate******* * * * *Production Support Technical Analysts * *Location:* *Okemos**, Michigan* *Duration: 4 - 6 Months contract could be longer* *Rate: $35-37/hr* * * *Primary Skills: Microsoft Access,Excel,Oracle database, QA testing, SQL, XML, PL/SQL* * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * *Position Charter & Experience:* The qualified individual will assist the Production Support team in *completing production support tasks, assisting with improving processes and procedures, * *internally troubleshooting client issues and maintaining reference tables and schemas.* * * *Key Accountabilities:* Analyze and assess impact of business and regulatory changes across all products and services; Document customer release notes; Modify database reference tables and unit test software; *Update environments based on customer requests, regulatory changes, and software updates; * Troubleshoot production issues; Create and unit test SQL scripts to deploy database reference table changes and perform data fixes; *Perform and coordinate QA testing; * *Create test plans or guidelines for the various services; * Perform the database reference table deployments to the pre-production and production environment; Assist with the creation of utilities to automate production support tasks; and Assist product development staff to design and implement software to reduce production support manual effort. *Professional and Technical Competencies:* *Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel. Oracle database knowledge is a plus; * *Proficient in SQL and XML.
