*POSITION SUMMARY*
Located in Pleasanton, CA, Senior Quality Assurance tester will be
responsible for thoroughly testing releases of applications in a highly
complex environment. The Application records, maintains and communicates out
the organizational hierarchy. The position will require the candidate to
participate in the design, testing, and verification of multiple application
releases. The QA tester will also be responsible for writing test plans,
documenting bugs, relaying status, and communicating with Development,
Operations, and Project Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Rapid ramp-up on the existing system and its current interface(s).
? Research and analyze the software and hardware requirements / workflows
and designs to define detailed test plans, cases, data and procedures.
? Create test cases, scripts, and data from approved requirement and design
documents as well as tools such as CaliberRM.
? Attend various technical review sessions in order to understand workflow
requirements and potential testing issues, risks and/or conflicts.
? Execute test plans, cases and procedures.
? Report and enter defects and problems into QualityCenter,
? Triage and track defect disposition, test defect resolution along
with regression
testing to ensure system stability.
? Develop system testing documentation according to established IT
standards.
? Day-to-day contact with some business clients
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
? B.S. in Computer Science or relevant technical engineering discipline is
required.
? System testing experience in one of the following HR-related applications
is highly desirable.
? Ability to write and execute SQL as necessary to validate expected test
results against actual test results.
? Exhibit an understanding of interface messaging brokers and standard
HL7 communications
protocol.
? Ability to influence technology direction and decision-making process as
well as delivery of expected results
? Demonstrated experience in successfully working multiple projects
