Job title : Datastage Developer Location : Hopewell, NJ Duration : 6 months+ DataStage - developer, troubleshooter, admin, as per Ascential/IBM best practices for using DataStage Oracle - knowledge of database concepts, PL/SQL, Oracle ETL features, performance tuning at database level and at SQL and PL/SQL level. UNIX - Shell scripting, Oracle and DataStage development on UNIX platform, ability to package SQL and DataStage jobs in UNIX Autosys - ability to automate/parameterize processes through Autosys so minimal manual intervention is needed in the release promotion process Data Modeling - strong understanding of relational data modeling concepts Communication - verbal and written communication skills, ability and belief in documenting processes, designs, etc. Others - SDLC methodology, parameterized development, experienced in release/promotion process, knowledge and experience in ETL best practices, organized, structured, ability to take on and deliver multiple tasks and assignments, willingness to mentor, team player.
