Telephonic hire.* The Functional Team Lead (FTL) has ownership of a specific process area. The FTL manages the Functional Team members in terms of deliverables, schedule, scope and budget. They assure from the Business Blueprint to the Final Preparation phase that the Functional Team members have covered all the business process scenarios, business processes and business cases that belong to their process area. The FTL will manage the effort to analyze the decomposition of LS&Co.’ business processes as defined in the LS&Co. Global Blueprint, directs and works with the business process team members and: · Provides integrated system expertise in designated functional areas. · Provides implementation experience in recommending and assessing design solutions and alternatives. · Facilitates the AIM like Methodology. · Scrutinizes design for integration aspects of solution. · Provides input on design and integration issues based on knowledge and chemical best business practices along with previous implementation experience. · Provides input on technical implications of specific design solutions. · Provides technical specifications for any required enhancements. · Provides input on process improvements and change management recommendations based on business experience. · Delivers solution and configuration meeting the planning and scoping document design. · The FTL also manages the execution of system unit testing and integration testing, including: · Working with the project team to validate the mission critical business process scenarios applicable to the Canada & US operations. · Assists in performing unit, systems, and integration testing. · Provides training and input on training approaches where required. · Provides support for interface activities. · Provides support for conversion activities. · Provides technical solutions for gaps. The FTL will conduct workshops and presentations to validate business processes and solutions in conjunction with the business process team members. The FTL is also responsible to assure that once the Unit test cycles have been completed in each of the process areas, the in-depth coordination between the process areas takes place during the three Integration Test cycles in order to keep the process efficient and the project on schedule. In addition, the FTL works closely with the technical team in the design and development of reports, forms, interfaces, and conversions.
