Location: Atlanta or Miami Duration: 6 Months TESTING SQL TOAD OR COMPARABLE TOOL SSIS OR SSRS OR SSAS (SSIS PREFERRED) SQL INTEGRATION SERVICES SQL SERVER OR ORACLE Key Skills per the Hiring Manager: § Strong SQL for queries and ability to pull data using tools like TOAD (if they are using TOAD, they are pulling data from Mainframe and putting it into SQL Server then using the MS BI tools for reporting (SSRS) and analysis (SSAS) § Strong testing background § MS BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services and Analytical Services strongly preferred (SSIS most important then SSAS) Responsibilities: § Conduct testing to achieve quality product-they are about to start testing (Jan 2010) § Perform quality control § Write SQL queries to test results § Conduct data analysis as needed § Facilitate or user acceptance testing § Gather user requirements as needed Minimum Qualifications: § 4 years in a business intelligence analyst or data warehouse analyst role § 4 years experience in working with Microsoft business intelligence platforms and reporting tools § Experience in performing successful testing § Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills § Intermediate knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL - required for query, profiling and testing § Database exposure: SQL Server, Oracle or similar § Knowledge of quality assurance and testing procedures, processes and techniques employed across platforms and environments in areas of technical specialties § Previous usage of data access tools used for information delivery § Knowledge of data analysis, profiling and conceptual modeling § Basic understanding of SSAS and MOSS technology Thanks & Regards NARESH Technical Recruiter Sriven Infosys INC Voice: 212-999-6251 Ext: 220 Alt: 646-644-2894 Fax: 212-658-9460 [email protected] www.sriveninfosys.com Sriven Infosys Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
